Very large, and lots to do for energetic doggos. No chance of escape (unless they are Houdini) as the fences and gates are very well maintained, and very high (certainly taller than people). A shelter with water, bowls, and a picnic bench for stops, or to hide from the rain, and loads of toys and activities. Security of the airlock car spot is great if you need it, and the main car park is large too, so no crossover worries, or for dog parties.
Booking system is easy, shows availability, and takes mobile payments.

Brilliant place to take my dogs (I have 3) for a run, plus very reasonable price, always good to be back there.

Big, secure field with loads of obstacles for dogs to play on. There is a wooden shelter with a picnic bench inside so you can get out of the wind/rain if needs be. There are number of drinking bowls with fresh water available as well as bins to deposit any dog mess. The views from the field are lovely too and we were even treated to a couple of red kites flying over.

I was holidaying at Balmaghie and wanted to visit a local field. I found this lovely place. Very nice set up. Everything you need.

I've been to a fair few dog fields across the country and this one tops the bill so far! It I easy to find, just a few minutes drive from the A75, well signposted with a huge carpark. It is larger than your average dog field and has some lovely views of the surrounding countryside and farmland. There's lots of water, poo bags and bins and a well stocked toy basket. The dogs loved it especially the paddling pool. Even my crabby 12 year old dog who normally just ambles around, had a short gallop. So that's the field, now to the owner, she was prompt, polite and super helpful in her reply. Could not have made the process any easier, very obliging. This field is new and their booking system is not yet operational but I feel sure even when it is, the owner will be very happy to help with any queries etc.
I give this place a huge thumbs up and highly recommend to anyone in the area.
Half an hour will suffice but it's such a lovely stroll and has nice benches etc at the top of the slope, an hour is recommended, and also better value for money.
The only fault I can find with this park is that it's not close enough to my home to visit more often!

We had a brilliant time tonight our dog loved this spacious dog park, great parking and in a lovely country setting. Toys provided, a dog pool and other obstacles to keep them amused. Will be visiting again . A happy dog, and happy humans..
